The X800 Lite features HyperLite Foam in the bicep guard that not only provides excellent impact protection, but its closed cell structure also means it repels moisture to keep the X800 lite as light at the final buzzer as they are at the opening faceoff. 

Bauer uses their Free Flex Technology to help prevent gaps in protection by allowing the pad to move and flex with a player's body. The X800 Lite features a hydrophobic mesh liner with a special Sanitized Technology treatment process applied directly into the fabrics and materials.
