The Bauer Vapor X800 Hockey Gloves provides great mid-level performance and protection that doesn't break the bank. It features a cable mesh and synthetic leather exterior (also found in the flagship 1X gloves) that provides extra durability in the high wear areas, and breathable flexibility throughout the glove.
Protection-wise, the fingers feature dual-density foams to maintain that lightweight and flexible feel, while the backhand adds plastic inserts on top of the dual-density foams for greater protection. Bauer uses their patented 2-piece lock thumb which gives great forward flex while providing solid protection. In the palm, the X800 gloves utilize a black Nash base with a digital Nash overlay to give it a little bit more durability in the high-wear area and still provide good puck feel.
To top it all off, Bauer uses an advanced Thermo Max microfiber liner that quickly wicks away the sweat and keeps your hand extremely comfortable.
