Bauer Nexus 1N Ice Hockey Shoulder Pads Senior

The Bauer Nexus 1N Hockey Shoulder Pads are the flagship shoulder pads in the 2016 Nexus lineup, featuring the elite Seven+ Technology™. This high level technology uses molded cylindrical foam that's designed to withstand repeated impacts while providing top-notch protection. The 1N features this technology in the sternum guard alongside high-density foams and PE inserts.

In the back, Bauer uses overlapping high-density foam segments running along the spine for lightweight, but elite level protection to that vital area. Both the sternum and spine guard utilize a wide construction with a floating for mobility and also for overlapping coverage with the segmented high-density foam base. The Bauer 1N also features arch protection running across the clavicle to ensure that the player is fully protected. This arch piece actually slides separate from the base layer, allowing for a greater range of motion.

The shoulder caps also feature Seven+ Technology™ in their extra wide construction, alongside the thick Injected PE cap protection. Underneath the cap, the 2-piece bicep guard can adjust by a velcro strap for easy customization. Inside the shoulder pads, the 1N features 37.5™ which utilizes the player's body heat to speed up the evaporation process and keep players drier, cooler, and more comfortable throughout the game.
